Eubank Tutors Travel To Kansas City

March 2-6, 2006

Between March 2nd and March 6th, William R. Eubank and Leslie Eubank made a short trip from East Lansing Michigan to Kansas City, Missouri as well as Overland Park, Kansas and Frankfort, Kansas. The trip was made to visit clients of http://www.DAE-Services.com .

The trip was made via Amtrak. We left East Lansing on Thursday morning and arrived in Chicago by 11:30 am. The afternoon trip started at 3:00 PM and we arrived in Kansas City Union Station by 10:30 PM. This was a very nice way to travel and was certainly less expensive than driving.

The first client and friend that we visited was Laura Way at Mini Temptations also known as http://www.DOLLHOUSESTORE.com . We spent several hours with Laura, her Mother Connie and her Father Keith talking about the web site and planning new work on the site to be done by Katie Eubank.

Later that day, we went by The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art to have lunch at the Rozzelle Court Restaurant, to visit the Chinese collection and view some of the works of Thomas Hart Benton. We had a great time, sent postcards to some students back at VIPP at Michigan State University, and bought a few souvenirs.

By Friday evening we had driven out to Frankfort, Kansas in order to see the owner of http://www.LWP-Remodeling.com who lives on a hill overlooking the Vermilion River just south of Frankfort. Right now the "live stock" on his place is down to one goat named Freddy, two Guineas, a dozen chickens and about a million honey bees.

We stayed overnight at Marysville, Kansas and got up the next morning to visit again with Don Eubank and to also visit Nan at http://www.ElsieGraces.com and then make plans to see Anthony Benton Gude http://www.AnthonyBentonGude.com just southwest of Frankfort.

We stayed Saturday night at Marysville and got up early Sunday morning to drive to Overland Park to see Wes Eby and old friend from http://www.MIDTESOL.org . Wes will be traveling to Michigan later this month for a conference at Cornerstone. After services at his Church, we has a wonderful visit over lunch about faith based ESL classes. We had a great time telling him about the exciting things that are going on through Katie's web site at http://www.Leslie2k.com ..

Our final client visit that day was at the OSCAR NIGHT® AMERICA 2006 which was held on March 5 , 2006 by http://www.VarietyKC.org at the AMC's Town Center 20 Theatre in Overland Park.
